Plant Knowledge Holder

Welcome to my world of plant medicine! As a young girl, my love for plants was nurtured by my Indigenous mother and grandmother, igniting a passion that has stayed with me ever since. Through years of dedicated study and exploration, I have delved deep into the world of herbs and completed my Master Herbalist program. However, my learning doesn't stop at textbooks and classrooms.I am honoured to collaborate and gain knowledge from the local indigenous community, participating in land-based education that is deeply connected to their cultural heritage. For last seven years, I have been teaching Indigenous Culture and Plant Medicine at School District 57. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work for a number of years with the University of Northern BC in their Medical Program, teaching how plant medicine is still beneficial for us today. My goal is to bridge the gap between traditional indigenous knowledge and modern herbalism. With respect and reverence for the wisdom passed down through generations, I strive to honor the ancient healing practices of indigenous peoples while adapting them to meet the needs of our ever-evolving world.
Join me on this journey of discovery and empowerment through plant medicine. Together, we can restore balance to our bodies, minds, and spirits using the healing gifts of the earth. Let nature be our guide, and let the power of plants be our ally in achieving optimal health and well-being.
