Horsetail>Khahdai / kl'ukwuszh This bushy plant had many purposes: being high in Silcia, saponins, and mucilage. It is used as a scrub brush. The beginnings of this plant look like fingerlings filled with electrolytes that can be eaten. Once the plant passes its fertile beginnings it branches out and looks like a mini tree. The silica crystallizes on the leaves making them not edible, but still useful for rinsing one's hair and brushing teeth. Used as a tea to strengthen bones, hair, nails and connective tissues. Caution: tea is to be used for a few months and given a break, too much silica can irritate the kidneys.

Comfrey- Knitbone This scratchy leaf plant contains a chemical called allantoin which naturally heals and pulls tissues together, great for broken bones and connective tissue damage such as; sprains, ligament tears, and aching joints-The bruised leaves would be used to wrap broken limbs-leaves could be soaked in hot water and applied. This is another plant that is used externally only.

Stinging Nettle>Hoolhts'l High in proteins and tannins, acids, amines(histamine) coumarins, and phytosterols. Traditionally used as food and body supporter. This is nature's multi-vitamin, mineral pill, this plant is great for strengthening all parts of our body. Contains; vitamins: A, B, C, K, Ca, P, silicon, iron-high in proteins. This plant will makes ones hair thick and shiny and skin glow.

Yarrow>Lacholbai Traditionally this plant known as the blood balancer. The flowers were pounded into powder and placed on bleeding cut and would stop the bleeding, not only did it heal external injuries but also was used for internal injuries. This heal plant strengthens blood vessels and keep bones and skin healthy.

Dandelion>Ditnikwun Rich in Vitamins A, B, C, D to make a strong musculoskeletal system. The leaves contain more bet-cartonene than carrots. Having more iron and calicum than spinach. Traditonal the whole plant was used for food including the roots. A terrific plant to support liver health therefor good health.
